Prerequisites
The only prerequisite for taking part in the group is that you have studied a little Japanese before. This really doesn't need to be much Japanese, but enough to (a) be familiar with Japanese pronunciation and (b) know what masu/desu ます・です form is, is enough!
I will provide alternative phrases for learners of different levels throughout our lessons so no matter your level, there will be something for you!
If you have taken part in Rosie’s Complete Beginner’s Japanese Tutoring Group (A) this is enough! Alternatively if you have studied roughly the equivalent of chapters 1-5 of the Genki I textbook, this is enough also! (See below to check.)

“The lessons are really great, it's my favourite part of the week (I truly mean this). Her lessons don't just include grammar and vocab but she also shares experiences and daily usage of different words, which I appreciate a lot. To sum it up, I'd say that every question mark that existed in my head was removed within the lessons or via Email. Thank you!”

“I had a lot of fun during the group lessons and thought the homework each week was super helpful!
It was great being taught by someone who has experienced learning Japanese as a foreigner themselves and hearing some tips that usually can't be read in textbooks.
ローズィせんせい、ありがとう ございました。”

“Rosie is a patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable teacher who made everyone feel very comfortable throughout the lessons. We covered an incredible amount in just five sessions, and I particularly enjoyed looking at sentence structures to get a stronger understanding of the language - much more useful than just blindly memorising phrases. Great class materials too - highly recommended!”
